I’ve taken hundreds of pregnancy tests in my life. I had long TTC journeys with both of my children. I know what a faint line is, an evap line is, etc. I have starred at hundreds of tests PRAYING to convince myself there’s a line when it’s stark white.

FIRST RESPONSE EARLY RESPONSES ARE NOT CURRENTLY VALID OR RELIABLE RIGHT NOW! I don’t know if this a regional issue or a national issue. (My husband even just got a positive)

I’ve been experiencing early symptoms. I picked up a box of FRER. All positive. Faint, but pink and positive. I was in total shock as we are not trying for baby #3 but grew excited extremely quickly.

I placed a target pickup order for multiple boxes of FRER as with each pregnancy, I like to track line regressions, etc.

My husband also picked two boxes up at Walmart himself today

So we have multiple boxes from multiple locations.

You guys, I have taken 6 first responses today and they are all faintly positive. You can see the testing line at the 3 minute wait mark, and you can see it easily with the naked eye. You don’t have to squint, look close, hold it up to light. You can see these lines plain as day.

Something in me though, told me to look up recent reviews of these tests. If you go to the target app and look up reviews of the first response early response tests, there are HUNDREDS of recent reviews all stating the SAME THING!!!! FALSE POSITIVES! Faint testing line within 3 minute mark, plain as day!!!! HUNDREDS! If you look up Google reviews for the product, SAME THING!!!

I’ve been excited that I may be pregnant but I needed to know. I knew that if I am pregnant, and these faint lines were accurate then I probably wouldn’t have enough HCG to pull a positive digital yet. So guess what I did? MAMAS, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE triple check if you have gotten a vfl or a faint positive on a first response!!!! Test with another brand, make a male in your home test if all you have is FRER on hand. Please. I am devastated that there are probably HUNDREDS of women out there RIGHT NOW who think that they are pregnant, and will go to the doctor and be told there is no pregnancy. I’m sure many women will falsely believe they have experienced a chemical and begin to grieve a life that never existed. I don’t even have the words to explain my emotions right now.
