Has your family/friends been right about your partner?

What I’m asking if your family or people close to you tell you that your partner has bad vibe or something seems off with em. And have they’ve been right?

they’ve ALWAYS been right. about boyfriends, friends, etc. if my family had an issue it was always proved to be true

Yes. And NO!!! 
With my current fiancé he was a recovering addict was in a sober home. He had tattoos and been in jail and looked rough around the edges. But I knew he was way more then his past issues. I absolutely was in love with him. And my sister/family couldn’t stand him.  Now here we are 6 years later his 6 year sobriety date is coming up and I’m having our second child and my family loves him. He also is the most loving caring person ever works his ass off for me and his son and soon to be daughter. I’m blessed!

. So NO YOUR family is not always right… 
But I will say I’ve dated people who they knew weren’t right for me (still dated them) but I ALSO deep down knew they weren’t either. So it just depends you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.

No. They disliked the fact that my husband had debt starting at 18. They thought it showed he wasn’t going to be able to be smart with money or be a good provider and that he wasn’t good enough for me. The reality of it was his narcissistic mother manipulated and guilt tripped him into taking money out of his account all the time to help her pay for the bills she couldn’t, because she was busy buying stupid things and going on trips. She convinced him credit cards were a good thing and told him to take out multiple. Then she guilt tripped him into buying a camper because she got a job at a campground. Then she convinced him the one he had wasn’t good enough, so he traded that one in for a larger one. 
We found out I was pregnant at 18 and 19. He stopped helping his mom pay for shit. Our son was born, he realized how horrible she truly was and cut her off. Sold the camper. Has never missed a payment on anything. His credit is phenomenal. We have our own house. Nice vehicles. He got his dream job and I can be a SAHM, he makes more than enough to fully support us. He’s the most amazing husband and father. My dad approves of him and genuinely likes him. My mom likes him, but she is constantly trying to meddle in our finances and gets pissed that I don’t tell her anything. She says we must be taking out loans because there’s no way we’re doing so well at our age. She’s jealous that we aren’t struggling the same way her and my dad did🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s pretty damn irritating.

No. My family thought my husband would be lazy and have extream anger issues. He doesn't. The reason they thought he would be lazy was because he grew up in a house where he literally never had to do a chore. He didn't even do his own laundry or clean his room when he was 20. He didn't have to. They also thought he would be lazy because the ADHD medication his parents forced him to take made him into a zombie. Once he was off of the medication and we moved in together he did a 180. My family thought he would have anger issues and be abusive because of a single look on his face when he was a teen and when he defened me to my dad because my dad hurt me in front of my husband. My husband is far from lazy and making him mad is insanely difficult. The only one who can make my husband mad is my dad.
