What do schools ask for to enroll

This is my first time enrolling they gave me a paper but I don't have any of the things like a deed, mortgage payment, no utility bill in my name I'm a single parent moved in with parents and I'm unemployed looking for jobs applying I have no proof of income
What kind of documents did you turn in to the school?

You will def have to fill lots of paperwork out for the school, but you don’t need to provide anything.

In my area we had to turn in birth certificate, proof of residency, social security card, vaccination record, and parent's ID. That was for our kindergartner. 
We did have to have all of that plus proof of income when we were trying to enroll our special needs child in the headstart program in the school district for 3-4 y/os. But did not need proof of income for our kindergartner.

They are trying to establish proof of residency for you and your child. You can get a notarized letter from your parent, and usually they will accept anything like an insurance card and birth certificate to verify identity of the child. Do you have a drivers license? If not, get a state issued ID card with your parents address on it and that would verify your residency. If you have no income, write a letter that says you are currently unemployed..
You can also get something like a bank acct or chime card, netspend card, paypal card, any one of those pay as you go debit cards and you will have a statement with your address on it emailed or mailed to you monthly..
