Had an appointment today with my midwife at 38 weeks. She says she wants to schedule an induction now because it wouldn’t be safe for baby to stay 40+ weeks with my hypertension. My blood pressure has been high despite me taking my medication twice a day, and it’s starting to come with head aches. My next appointment is Monday the 8th and she says we will discuss if induction is needed then or not depending on what state I am in that day. She said she’s known for sending women straight to the hospital from her office so I need to bring my hospital bag just in case 😬 but if everything is okay, she will wait till 39 + 5 but absolutely does not want to go past that date. So I was due 08/17, but it looks like little man will be here anytime between 08/08 and 08/15 😭 I’m a FTM and it’s starting to kick in now that this is all really happening!
