What is going on

My last period was July 18th. I normally have 28 day cycles. So I normally ovulate anywhere from CD 12- CD 15. Here it is CD 17 and I’m nowhere close to ovulating by looking at my bbt chart or my opk’s. I started spotting on Saturday and had a very light bleeding I hear is probably breakthrough bleeding. I checked my cm and it’s stretchy and clear mixed with brown from the spotting! Would you consider as Egg white cm?
