Hi…ectopic surgery question

Hi, not about ttc after ectopic, sorry, but there’s no other group to ask this in.

I had surgery yesterday for my ectopic and they said I needed my left tube removed. They said I would need a cut by my belly button for the camera and then 2 incisions on my left side so they can get in there. Yet I’ve woken up with an incision on my right side too….? Why have they cut that side? They haven’t taken both tubes have they? No-one has told me anything since I got out of surgery so late and I’ve only been seen by night nurses since leaving recovery. Please help 😭😭
