How many DPO are you. Some people implant on the later side (12DPO) and then it'll take another couple of days for your hCG to rise to detectable levels. That means a faint line wouldn't be visible until around 14DPO.  
Lots of people implant earlier, which is why they'd have strong lines by that point. 
If you're worried, take another test in a couple of days (to give hCG time to double) and see if the line darkens. Test with FMU for best results.
