My daughter is 8 days old and I am exclusively BF her. She has a strong latch and when I nurse her on the left side I feel absolutely no pain but when i nurse her on the right side it is painful and my nipple is cracked and slightly blistered. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong or why the right side is more difficult for her, my let down is much stronger on the right side and I also previously had a piercing so milk comes out of the old piercing hole too, could that be affecting her latch?
