Switch out of infant car seat?

Has anyone switched from the infant bucket seat style car seat to a convertible one yet?

Not yet. My son is 5mo, 18lbs and doesn’t mind his infant car seat

Yes, only because she hated the infant one. The only thing I suggest is make sure you have something with you so you can baby wear them wherever you go

No, I will wait till she maxes out at either height or weight.

Not yet but we probably will soon. With my first we switched him to one at 4 months because he haaaated his infant car seat but was content in a convertible one. March baby has been more easy going with it.

Not yet, but I did just order one. My babe is a mid March one, but she's already 18 lbs. She is content in the infant one, but I don't think she'll fit much longer 😬. She's my fourth, so I am also looking to save space in the car ... A booster+ 3 car seats😬

Not with my youngest who just turned 5 months but with my first born I did. He didn't like the infant seat. He would cry all the time when in it so we switched him to the convertible car seat when he was 5 months. He was sooo much happier. For us it was easy because he was already sitting up independently without support and he was a bigger baby so it just made sense. My daughter is not ready and she is still quite content in the infant seat so we are playing it by ear.
