This week we found out we're pregnant after 4 years trying and our 1st <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>! 😊

We have a national health service here and part of my treatment plan involves an ultrasound 2 weeks after our positive test. We had our treatment in a hospital hours away so I called my local hospital to get in contact with an obstetrician for our 1st scan. They have all of the records stating we've had treatment but wouldn't give me an appointment as I haven't been refered by my family doctor. I called my family doctor and can't get an appointment until September 3rd!!! Their response when I explained my treatment plan was "well you can go private and pay for the scan then". The woman on the phone was so rude. This should be a really exciting time but instead I can't get a referal to the obstetrician until September? I'll be 9 weeks by then!

I'm looking into a private scan on Monday when I can call. I have also contacted the Hospital we had our treatment at. I hope it all works out, I'm trying not to get too stressed, but I have shed a few tears.
