Ella causing me to skip a period?

I took Ella early in my cycle and was told I should expect my period within 3 weeks. It’s been 4 I’ve taken 2 pregnancy test both after I was expecting my period, they were both clearly negative. I’m now 14 days late and freaking out a bit, the last time I was this late I was pregnant. Has Ella cause anyone else to skip/miss a period.

I’m not sure why u were told to “expect” a period after taking Ella, as emergency contraceptive pills effect everyone differently & they’re a huge dose of hormones that can affect ur body/cycle for up to a few months… that can include a late or skipped period.
