I’m only 1 1/2 wks postpartum & im insanely horny😩 my husband has been so caring & sweet since we had our baby & it’s made it so much worse… I just don’t know what to do!! I know it’s advised to wait for health precautions. My mom said she never did, I’m still bleeding (really light) & I only have 2 stitches atleast waiting til there dissolved & im not bleeding anymore but this is hard!! Im constantly looking at him & just fantasizing

Bleeding or not, you have a dinner plate sized wound inside of you that is not healed until around 6w.
Having sex before cleared is opening the door to an infection.

Be smart and responsible.  Are for your healing body. 
Drs say 6wks for a serious reason. The uterus needs to heal from the placenta detachment which leaves a serious open wound that needs time to heal. Your body needs time to heal from trauma of pregnancy and delivery. 
You are at serious HIGH risk for infection, risk for uterine rupture/prolapse, high risk for hemorrhaging. 
Sex is NOT worth it to your healing body. You can wait.

Do NOT have penetrative sex. No no no. You can self stimulate once the stitches are gone with clean hands and lube EXTERNALLY ONLY until cleared by a doctor. My doctor told me that was ok to do if I was feeling good and my stitches were 100% gone, but NOTHING internal.

Just wait. Just be because you are not bleeding now, it is normal for the bleeding to stop and start. It is not worth an infection or high risk of pregnancy so soon.

You need to wait. There is a dinner plate sized open wound inside of you. Even if you’ve stopped bleeding and any stitches have dissolved, that wound hasn’t healed yet. If you have sex before you’re cleared you risk a very very dangerous infection.
