Are your periods different after meds?
I'm just curious, I've had two unsuccessful IUI attempts the last 2 months and I'm going for a third and final one next week. But something I noticed was that my periods are much better since I started this. I get the trigger shot and the letrozole. I told my doctor that I haven't had a normal. Like this since the loss of my baby in 2015 where I had to have a DNC as well. My periods would be extreme heavy flow for about 36 hours straight and then would just be a normal flow for the remaining three or four days. Ever since I have done the first round of IUI in the trigger back in June my periods were not excessively heavy and were like the normal ones I had prior to that loss. I asked the doctor if it was possible that the electrical or the trigger is altering the hormones some way and is it better that my periods are like this now and so what they were like. They had no idea and had no responses or feedback for me so I thought I'd ask the community that actually experiences it directly. When I talk heavy flow for 36 hours I mean throughout the entire day and night I have to change a super plus tampon and heavy flow pad that get completely soaked through every 45 minutes to an hour and a half the whole time. It typically starts about the end of the first full day of my period
