Does laying on your stomach hurt your baby?

I’m six months pregnant and I can still comfortably lay on my stomach but when I do my baby moves a lot is that mean it’s hurting her?

I did until my youngest was born. And stopped around 30 weeks with my first (it was uncomfortable). You probably feel her more because of gravity. She’s completely in the front of your stomach so you feel everything. When you’re sitting or standing or walking, she’s not necessarily in the front completely.

The only sleeping position I was told to avoid was sleeping on my back or laying on my back for extended periods after 20 weeks because it can compress blood vessels and cause issues for both you and baby. I’ll lay on my back for a little while sometimes (like 30 mins or so) and I’ll know when I need to turn because I start to get dizzy and short of breath. Just listen to your body. I still try and lay sort of on my belly sometimes but it depends on how she’s positioned at the moment, sometimes it doesn’t feel uncomfortable and other times the moment my belly touches the bed it hurts.

anything that is pushed up against your belly she can most likely feel. it’s not hurting her she probably is just curious of what it is lol. anytime I laid my arm on my belly or the monitors at the hospital my baby moved and kicked like crazy.

Nope, babies are super protected while they are in the womb. You can sleep in any position that is comfortable to you. You body will let you know when you need to adjust. Your daughter moving while you are on your belly has nothing to do with you hurting her. It is just something that she does.
