3 month growth spurt - should you ditch the pump?
My 11 weeks old son is extra hungry and sleepy and is showing similar fussy behaviours previously shown during cluster feeding.
Should I continue to pump after feeds where possible or ditch pumping till the possible growth spurt is over?
Thoughts appreciated.
Thanks!
UPDATE - just to add was recommended by an IBCLC to pump after feeds to protect supply as son has slow weight gain and high palate due to tongue tie which has been released. I think we have improved a lot with feeding but haven't weighed him recently to know for sure if he's gained yet. I was never told how long to do the pumping for but I agree that surely on demand feeding where he seems more efficient is plenty (definitely have plenty wet nappies but only poos every few days but when he does he does!)
