So my dog was really old and wasn’t doing well. This morning my sister found him on the kitchen floor. My parents are on vacation but they come back tonight at 10pm (it’s 11am now) but Idk how to tell my mom. Should I call her and tell her? I don’t wanna ruin her last day. But I also don’t want them to come home from vacation to that.

We put him in a box with his blanket. Right now the box is in the kitchen. Where should I put it until my parents get home?? In the past when pets died when I was at school my parents kept them in their box outside until we got home from school so we could say goodbye, then we buried them. Apparently your supposed to put them outside cause eventually they’ll start to smell. But all those other times it was winter. But It’s really hot out today. Do I still put him outside? Or leave him inside with the AC on??

I called my mom, no answer. I’m waiting for a call back.
