Karyotype genetic test

After years of trying just about everything and two rounds of Ivf with lots of eggs but only one ‘normal’ embryo- we finally found out I have a chromosome abnormality and thats why it’s all been impossible.

While I’m glad to know now, wish I knew much earlier. We did several different genetic screenings to see what we could pass along, but never our own chromosomes. So if anyones getting genetic testing add on the Karyotype just to be safe. My specific case is that I have all the right number of chromosomes, but one swapped positions so when eggs and embryos are being created it just jumbles up everything. Learned a lot of medical things in these 9 years lol The more you know!
