How do you clean your stove? 🧽

I live in a house where people that use my stove don’t clean up after themselves and since I haven’t been able to cook I’m the last 2 months you can imagine how it looks. Anyway I am looking for good product recommendations to clean my stove and do you use sponge or rag or something else? It looks exactly like this.

Not sure what kind of stove you have but when I had a glass top and there were stains I couldn’t get off from scrubbing (like from water boiling over and burning onto the glass top) I’d spray the whole thing down with a thick layer of Easy Off oven cleaner and leave it for like an hour then wipe it off. It made my stove top look brand new every time with no scrubbing necessary. Nowadays I don’t have a glass top anymore so I just wipe it down with Lysol and Lysol wipes.

Mine is not a glass/ glossy finish like that picture so i just use Dawn soap, a brillo pad, and a butter knife for really stuck on stuff. If its reallyy bad (like boiled over marmalade) i went and got the stove cleaning spray at the store. Idk what its called. But it foams and i just scrubbed the crap out of it, as for the grates just hot soapy water, the actual burner tops hot soapy water and a brillo pad if needed

I have a gas stove. I just use Clorox wipes and take the burner covers off and run them through the dishwasher periodically. I clean it everyday so it’s not that dirty
