First baby was 7lb 8oz, natural I medicated airer birth no tears, stitches issues etc.

Second baby- gestational diabetes (diagnosed very late) so baby is measuring big. At my 36 week scan last week they estimated baby to be around 7lb 4oz which they say if it continues it could end up over 9lb…… but this past week and a half I have finally got my diabetes under control with no high blood readings or anything.

😭They want to induce me this weekend/definitely next week and I’m freaking out. I knew baby was measuring big but didn’t think they would find it that necessary to induce so early. Our house is in the middle of renovating and major work will finish next week, my daughter is starting school in September, I have work for the car booked next week and things booked which are non refundable to do with my daughter before she starts school/before baby comes and I now just feel sick and panicked. Genuinely feel like my husband might have a mental breakdown if it has to be done before all these other things are out of the way🤦🏽‍♀️

Has anyone else differed being induce by a week and a bit and what are your opinions on it.
