Hello! I have a question and maybe someone with more knowledge will know. Can I dye dark blonde over ombre hair? (Light brown kinda reddish from fading) with very light blonde on bottom.

My hair is naturally dark blonde but I have been dying it a long time. I have had it ombre for years. Not professionally. My sister is pretty good at doing hair and occasionally I touch it up myself. But I kinda just want it my natural hair color. I am worried the dark blonde would make the brown part of my hair look weird. Does anyone know what it would do the the brown part or if it just wouldn't dye it? My roots are showing so that's probably already dark blonde and then it kinda fades this is reddish brown which is really ugly.

Any recommendations with dark blonde hair dye and toner at Sally's... would plan to dye dark blonde and tone it if needed. 😊
