My 9 month old is going through separation anxiety right now and I'm just not sure how to handle it. She's fine when family and my husband are with her as it seems they distract her but if its just us 2 at home I can't put her down for a second without her sobbing. Even if I sit next to her holding her hand its not enough and she's so sad! It's gotten to the point she's trying to climb out of her bath chair when it's Bath time because she just wants to be held and that makes me so nervous. How do you guys cope with this? And how long does it last? It just makes me so sad but at the same time I need to do stuff with both hands. I tried a baby carrier but right now we're having real hot weather and whenever we've tried it we've both ended up too hot so then she's just cranky too.
