Do you think you are a good friend?

I really don't know.. it's something I'm a little insecure about to be honest.
I suspect having autism, and though I actually really like the people I consider friends, I do have issues on staying connected and meeting up on a regular basis.
Sometimes I feel like people say they want to get together but then don't follow up on it even if I offer and then I think that maybe we aren't such good friends as I assumed.. I think of all human connections, friendships are the hardest.. because for a romantic relationship there's rules.. like at some point your relationship is an established something and is given a name, and that comes with certain rules, if the rules are different from a sort of widely accepted "norm" .. that is something that is discussed (like a poly or open relationship).. so you know what should be expected from you and what you can expect from the other person and it's ok to feel cheated if they don't keep to that expectation.. Like you expect them not to have romantic or sexual relations with others and you feel cheated if they don't keep to that rule..
but friendships are hardly ever clearly defined and what is normal or acceptable is very personal.. also I feel like defining yourself as someone's best friend without them telling you you are is kinda rude.. so often times I'm in a sort of vertigo where I don't really know if we're strangers, acquaintances, friends, good friends, best friends... Like I know for most of my friends that they are way past the stage of acquaintances, but I don't know how to define everything above just friends. Or what happens to good friends with whom the contact watered down.. was this by accident.. did I just not put enough effort in? Did they not like me anymore? Did I do something wrong? Is it weird to want to reconnect?

Ngl I feel like a bad friend. But I love and always think about my friends I just don’t have the mental capabilities to keep up with them and do what they think a good friend should do. If I am not whole, how can I give piece of myself to anyone?

Depends on the person & situation. 
There’s so many people I go above & beyond for who do the same for me. Then there’s some that I’ve tried to be a good friend to, but if I don’t reach out to them first, I don’t hear from them at all. 
So it really depends for me.

Depends on who the person is. I have like 5 friends that I would do anything for and then a bunch if other people I call friends  but I'm not going to far out of my way for them.
