I tested on the first day of my missed period and got faint positives from two strips and then a +YES from a digital first response. I’ve been testing for the last 6 days including doing a week dating one that said 2-3 weeks, mostly in disbelief that I’m actually pregnant. Todays pregnancy test the line is much lighter. Is this a bad sign?

My doctor won’t send me for an HCG test and has told me to wait until the 8 week dating ultrasound.

Has anyone had this experience and still had a healthy pregnancy/baby?

I’ve never had a positive pregnancy test before. We’ve been trying for 2 years and I’m 38. I’m so scared it’s going to end. No bleeding, intermittent cramping and no other symptoms.
