Really having a tough time. Any information on small cell lung cancer.

So a little back story. My dad started complaining about his vertigo acting up back in around October of last year. Wasn't getting any better then complaining of stomach nauseous. Goes to his Drs he tells them what is going on he prescribed stomach pills an sends him on his way he's lost about 50lbs since then. Well he gets real sick again in May has to go to the hospital again they say he has pneumonia gives him antibiotics but one of the Drs said well you may have cancer. He finally in July gets a scan. But the Dr never calls him with the results. He didn't have enough energy to shower himself them my mom said his eyes started to roll back. So she called the ambulance an there they got the results from his scan. Says it resembles metastatic cancer. An his Dr never called him with the results! Which to me is complete bullshit!!! My dad has cancer and you are literally wasting time!! They did the biopsy MRI. He has cancer on his brain. 3 small spots I guess in his lungs it spread to his stomach noodles an a few spots on his liver. He got his port in Friday and they said they are going to use radiation to get the spots on his brain then do chemotherapy. I feel like his Dr completely failed him. 😭 And now for that I'm going to lose my dad to cancer!! 😭😭 He's only 63. I guess what I'm asking anyone have some insight on what to expect in the coming months??? Maybe some prayers.🙏🙏🙏🙏 This is absolutely terrible.
