6 week and 2 day ultrasound. She couldn’t see a heart beat which she said was fine, there’s the fetal pole and everything else looks good. Is this normal? She said there was nothing to be worried about but everyone else seems to see a heart beat by now.

Yeah looks like an older machine, if you see a fetal pole you probably won’t see a heart beat until around 8 weeks with this machine

Sometimes ultrasound machines can be out dated and not pick up on that stuff till way later. I wouldn’t worry babe seems normal to me

Was this a abdominal scan? They couldn’t see much via that for me but this was my vaginal scan at 6 weeks 1 day!

Nope. This pregnancy I didn’t get a heart beat until 7weeks 3days. Doctors even tried to tell me I had a blighted ovum.
