Were your kids two different sizes ?

I have two boys my second is so tiny compared to my first I wonder if he’ll catch up lol

My son was a pound heavier than my daughter when he was born, but she was only 6lbs 4oz.
He’ll be 2 in October and she turned 4 in February and he probably is close to what she weights. My dad jokes that he is her big little brother.

My first was 6 lbs 12 oz. My second was 8 lbs 3 oz. They’re 6 and 4 now and they’re wearing the same size clothes. So, mines the opposite, the smaller one was my first and the second definitely caught up to her. I just never thought it’d happen so quickly.

My son was 7 lb 1 Ioz and my daughter was 7 lb 13 Oz. Not a big difference at birth. My daughter was a chunky little baby and my son was pretty skinny. My son was formula fed and my daughter was breastfed so I don’t know if that’s the difference or not. They are both slimmer now that my daughter is a toddler.

My first was 9#11oz and 21 inches
My second was 10# and 22 inches. 
They are now almost 8 and 3 and a half and neither of them have been under like the 65th percentile for height or weight. We are average sized parents in height and weight! But I was a large baby- it seems to run in my family lol.
Interesting thing to add is I was a surrogate recently and the baby was not biologically related to me. She was born at 37+2 at 6lbs 14oz. So I’m not sure how large she would have been had she come closer to her due date (I think maybe 8 lbs which is right in the middle I think?) but it’s interesting to me whether it’s genes or possibly how well the baby gets nutrients in utero?!

I don't think newborn size necessarily correlates to adulf size. My husband and I are not huge (I'm 4'11" and 90 lbs, he's 5'8"). Our kids were large for someone my size, according to the nurses who all guessed theyd be mid 6 lbs. They were 7 lbs 12 oz, 7 lbs 2 oz, and 7 lbs 13 oz. My eldest is definitely the smallest in comparison to his age group while my middle (smallest at birth) is closest to average. 
And not to mention, I was 7 lbs 15 oz and my sister was 6 lbs 11 oz. And she is bigger than me as adults by a good 2-3 inches and 25 lbs.

Both of mine are pretty small, but my first is definitely way smaller than my second. Maybe because my first has occasionally stopped growing (for which we do see a specialist).

My husband and I aren’t big people and neither are our families. So both our boys were small-ish at birth. My first son was only 5lbs born at term! My second was 7lbs. Now they are both around the 40th percentile in weight and only 25th percentile in height for their age groups.
