Do you go outside with your kids every day?

I live in Florida and I feel guilty but I hate taking my kids outside. It’s so hot and we always get a million mosquito bites. We only go outside a few times a week for like an hour.

I live in Cali so it’s pretty hot but not as humid as Florida. I stick to early morning & early evening so it’s not so hot. 
So maybe early morning to avoid so many mosquitos?

Yes, but we typically have the opposite "problem" as our winters are crazy long and freezing from like september till May 😜 the kids are outside every day in kindergarten for hours, and we let them run outside as much as they want during the summer months. The doors are more or less wide open from we wake up till we go to sleep.

I lived in south Florida up until a year ago, we hardly ever went out during summer, it's miserable. Totally different than the climate Im in now, yes it's hot but nothing compared to South Florida summers!

Always. We have to walk the dog at least twice while he is home from school, and we usually play after school as well.

I hate being inside all the time so as sahm I try to go out. The heat is rough but staying inside makes me rougher🤣🤣🤣🤣

I try to get outside with my daughter as much as possible. It’s hard because I work full-time at home and she is here with me, so we don’t go outside until I’m done with work. It’s hot here too, 90° and humid here, but still ￼not near as hot as Florida I’m sure (My daughter is actually there at the moment and the heat index was something like 110°)… But we do have a lot of mosquitoes and it’s so annoying! But as much as I hate dealing with the heat and mosquitoes￼, we have winter here, so these months are the only chance we get to soak up the sunshine and good weather. ￼Once fall time comes around, and the sun goes away earlier, the only chance she gets to go outside in the daylight is at school and on weekends.

Yes but we have large gardens, chickens, and live in the temperate PA mountains.

Definitely understand this!! I’m in Florida as well & I feel soo bad when I’m not taking my baby out as much lately due to the heat. We have a pool but even that isn’t cutting it. The sun shines directly on it & makes it all warm, not refreshing at allll. Luckily we’ll be getting into the cooler months here soon , hoping then I’ll be able to take more time to be outside

We do pretty much everyday unless it's too hot or humid. We've been very lucky this summer it's been below normal Temps mist days so we've been outside a LOT!

We rarely do! I feel guilty sometimes- but I’m in south east tx and our heat index has been like 105-115 for 2 months straight. It’s too hot, for me, for my 3 & 2 year olds, and definitely for my 5 month old! Once it cools off a little for the year we will probably visit a splash pad once of week (with another adult to help- my 2 year old is a runner! 😩)
