Do you cosleep?

I know they tell us not to but I read that the percent of parents that cosleep at some point is actually quite high

I follow the safe sleeping guidelines, she sleeps in her bed half the night, then with me the other half of the night, somenights she sleeps in her bed the entire night. When she came home from the NICU i was told it was actually safer and a good idea for her to be in bed on my chest sleeping because she had troubles breathing so it kinda helps them remember to breath, and i am an extremely extremely light sleeper so i woke up to her slightest twitch, breath being different etc. Plus her bresthing was just better oxygenation sleeping on me and me holding her, so for us it was safer and better for her to cosleep with me following the safe co sleeping guidelines

Yes we cosleep, meaning baby is in our room in a bassinet next to us. We do not bedshare, which is dangerous and can kill your baby. The extra sleep is never going to be worth the risk to me. Once you know someone, especially multiple people, who lost their newborn, 3 month old, 7 month old to bedsharing (even practicing the so-called “safe sleep” methods — nobody truly knows what they do in their sleep, it doesn’t matter how light of a sleeper you are🤷🏻‍♀️) you think differently.

There are studies that they don't tell you about. Co sleeping is actually very safe if done properly. Do your own research; don't just blindly follow the medical field.

We followed safe sleep. She had her own spot with no pillows or blankets. Our bed was very low. No drinking or smoking. 
We only did it from 6-11m. She was a 4lb preemie so it was not an option until she was bigger and stronger. We only started due to breastfeeding and sleep regression. We also wanted the extra snuggles and what not since I’m pregnant again! 😅 
She’s a year now and has been doing amazing sleeping in her bed with the slumberpod. She takes two good naps and sleeps 12hr straight at night. 
Bed sharing can be done safely.

Yes. If done safely, you can definitely do it. 
I been co sleeping with my son since he was 6 or 7 months old. We sleep 100% fine and much better.

Yes, it's the only way I'd get any sleep the first month. I followed the safety guidelines, mattress on the floor, no blankets, no pillow tops etc. We happened to have a firm foam mattress for guests that we set up in our master. Now baby is in his crib in our room. I think he just really hated our cosleeper as it was too firm for him. Hoping not to go back to the floor bc it's best they have their own space.

I have in the past yes. I am not sure if I will be this time around or not. But precautions will be put in place if I do.

I get shared with each of my kids. We followed safe sleep practices, and everyone got more/better sleep while doing so.
When they were each around 18/20 months, they transitioned to sleeping in their own bed. It was a pretty painless transition.
