Idk if anyone else has gone through this but I’m having such a hard time figuring out my baby’s feeding schedule. Like idk how much he’s eating. I know he’s eating about every three hours or so but sometimes he grunts and cries and squirms around and I’ll think he’s ready to eat but then i get the bottle and he’s back to sleep and it tricks me so many times. my boyfriend said just to wait until he cries without stopping but idk if that’s appropriate to do? As for the feeding I was feeding about 60ml then he increased to about 80ml even 100ml at times but then sometimes I’ll serve about 80 and he’ll leave like half so I’m just confused as to what to do because I don’t want to waste my breast milk but I also don’t want to starve him. I get confused too because I’ll feed him then he won’t want to take it anymore so I’ll put him in his bassinet and he’ll be grunting and squirming like does that mean he’s still hungry? I’m just having a hard time figuring it out and idk what to do 😣 He’s 3 weeks btw. But he’s premature as well so idk if that makes a difference.
