This is a vent more than anything else. My periods were never super regular because I have PCOS, but came monthly for the most part although occasionally I'd miss a month and my flow really varied in how heavy it was.

I was on Depo for 5 years, was due to have it in January but just stopped. I started Nuvaring in March which regulated me for all of two months before my period went out the window again.

It's been around a month since I've stopped using it, and I have never been more wanting of my period. My partner and I decided to jump into TTC even though the likelihood is very small right now. I haven't had a true period in over 5 years, I just want my body to reach some kind of equilibrium and I wish I had never chosen Depo as birth control.

I wish I knew before hand how much it was going to throw off my body.
