For years my son wouldn’t flush certain toilets. I would have to cover the sensor while he went or put a sticky note on it so it didn’t flush by itself or would have to wait for him to leave the room. He would have panic attacks and beg other people not to flush the toilet. I even kept a portable camping bucket with a set on it for portable use for a year. Now he’s in school and now he’s crying at home about the toilet. I was considering putting his noise canceling headphones in the bag with a note on it for the teacher to let her know he can use this at bathroom time since the toilet flushes automatically. I don’t want to inconvenience her because I know she’s busy but I don’t want my son to be scared. Is this a good idea or is there something better I should be doing?
