Nuvaring??

Question

Will my nuvaring still work if it sits at the entrance of my vagina?? 
Like I can feel the rim of it when I wipe. It won't go any further. I tried making it smaller but it just goes back down and sits like that for days. 
Do I just need to go ahead and take a plan b since I had unprotected sex?? 
Help please...

If your the same girl from before, just get on a different birth control. It’s not worth the stress! Maybe try an iud however, no that’s not normal it needs to go further in your vagina, trust me when I say it will go into the correct space once inserted correctly.

I was on nuvaring for YEARS and I experienced a lot of that. It’s totally okay. Your whole vagina has a mucous membrane covering it that will readily absorb the hormones from the nuvaring, so you don’t have to worry. I never got pregnant, either. Eventually after being on it a while, it started to sit higher up. It is annoying to have to feel it down there but just hang in there, it gets easier after it moves up. You eventually won’t feel it at all.
