We just bought a house and didn't even realize until closing day that we don't have a mailbox lol we have to get a PO Box for our mail. Not a big deal, I'm just confused.

Of course I'll talk to the post office employee when we go next week, but I'm curious how this works. I have a PO Box for my business, but I have only used that for a return address. I know only usps delivers to the po box and other delivery services deliver to the house. So what if I order something and don't know which service will be delivering? I wouldn't know whether to put my home address or po box address. What happens if I put my home address on something that is shipped with usps? Or what about Amazon. I know Amazon delivery can't deliver to the po box, so I would use my home address, but sometimes Amazon packages get delivered with usps, so what then?

This is all so new to me. I'm moving from a big town to an itty bitty little town. Like, it's basically just a little neighborhood with a tiny post office in a 3 minute walking distance from my house.
