Will Premier Protein Shakes Make Me Gain Weight?

I’m in my third trimester of pregnancy and my doctor wants me to start eating less carbs and sugar as my blood glucose levels were slightly high. I’m having trouble finding things to eat that don’t contain a lot of carbs and sugar but also keep me full. I thought maybe drinking Premier Protein shakes or just any protein shake really would be a good breakfast or snack to help keep me full because it’s high in protein and low in sugar and carbs.

My question is will consuming these shakes make me gain weight since I’m not working out? I heard somewhere that the protein would turn to fat if I don’t work out after drinking it… the drink itself is only 160 calories so idk how it could really make me gain weight…?
