Hi all,

I was supposed to start my regular period this morning, August 27. I generally will wake up in the morning to the start of my flow, however today when I woke up I was not bleeding. I put a tampon in as I would be at work for a few hours And didn’t want to start a period without any protection. Two hours later I remove the tampon to see two very small specks of blood. I usually have a regular flow, replacing my tampon every 3 to 5 hours on the first day of my regular. Attached are some pictures of the tampons that I have removed today. Would someone be able to tell me if this is implantation bleeding or just an abnormally light start to my regular period. I am using combination birth control and have not missed any pills and also have regularly unprotected sex with my husband.
