No. My mom doesn’t care for kids and doesn’t watch mine for me. Also, 10 days is a long time regardless how close they are to you.

We were originally going to honeymoon in the Bahamas for 7 days and with travel we would have been gone for 9/10 depending on how late we got home. My parents would have had our three year old (he was 2 at the time) the entire time. We decided not to go because of covid and because I couldn’t handle leaving my son for that long. 
We went downstate instead and we were gone for four days. My parents had no complaints even when I was FaceTiming my mom 3 times a day because I missed my toddler😂 My parents are 44 and 42.

Absolutely, but I would have to take him to her. She doesn’t fly.

If my mom wasn't disabled and could care for herself I absolutely believe she would watch the kids for 10 days without hesitation. However, it is a lot to ask of someone. But I do know people who have parents will watch their children for an extended period of time and others who won't

Maybe not my mom (she's not fond of kids) but my sisters live with her so they'd do more watching, probably.
