Guys I need some anwsers if you guys are able to help…

Guys I have a question. I’m currently pregnant with my second kiddo. I had my first kiddo at 28 weeks. I’m currently 20 weeks with this one. I started having sharp pains Friday night around 8pm in my lower stomach. I went to the hospital was sent home without an ultrasound or pelvic check saying it’s only an uti. They gave me an antibiotic and told me to take tyneol for the pain. I go home that morning the pain is worse than when it first started and tyneol isn’t work for the pain. I’m in tears and can barely move from the pain. My fiancé takes me to another hospital a 4 exits down on the interstate. They tell me I have uti which I told them that’s what the other hospital says but they also did a pelvic exam and told me that my outer cervix is considered open and that my inner cervix is still closed. Which confused me. They told me they are going to give me fluids and a muscle relaxer with some Tylenol. I’m confused because they used the terms inner and outer cervix which isn’t something that I heard about with my first. Does anyone else know a little bit more on this? I’m concerned because isn’t my cervix supposed to be completely closed right now during this gestational week?
