To much fluid?

Can someone explain this? All she said is he has to much fluid around him, but everything else looks good, but she’s gonna have me redo the diabetes test and have me do another ultrasound with a specialist and do a Nst all to be safe. His last ultrasound measures 39’weeks I’m currently 36 weeks 3 days and super worried now

Did she say how much fluid your have? It would say “AFI” which is your amniotic fluid index. Mine was on the higher side at my 36 week ultrasound, and so it will be rechecked at another ultrasound at 38 weeks. My doctor said it could cause water to break prematurely, tough for the baby to engage in the pelvis, something with the umbilical cord coming out first. I’ve asked about it on here though, and most of the responses from the women with higher fluid said that everything ended up fine with the pregnancy, just a lot of fluid when their water broke.

In my last pregnancy, I had higher fluid but baby was fine. The only thing was that my water broke before labor had actually started
