For those whose abusers tried to continue after you left, did they ever stop? (EXCLUDING jail)

I got away from my abuser 3 months. Got a restraining order and planning to get custody of our kids. But I feel like he’s just never going to give up. I’ve already had about 8 instances of him/his family/friends continuing on his abusive games. I don’t trust to even make friends because everyone I’ve tried to befriend so far is a reporter for him. He’s been doing things that I KNOWWW are his way of saying he knows where I am and where I work and it’s just frustrating because I can’t even report it because he knows how to get away with it. I hate having to live so low key and restrict MY life when HE’S the one with a restraining order. Anyone I know who’s gone through this says their abuser only stopped when they went to jail recently and I am hoping it doesn’t get to that point for me.
