Yesterday morning I started having irregular contractions at 37+5 and they became regular to about every 6 minutes. I went to triage and they monitored me for about five hours. My contractions were 4 minutes apart but my dilation, station, and effacement didn’t change so they sent me home. I’m feeling more pressure on my cervix today and having contractions but feel like I’m in a holding pattern until I either bleed, my water breaks, or the contractions become unbearable. So frustrating to have regular contractions that are painful but they’re not changing much in terms of my cervix. I didn’t have this with my first, has anyone had prodromal labor before? If so how long did it last? Going on over 40 hours, just want to get to the active labor part
