Breast Issues

I’m a FTM and have been breastfeeding for 9 months (yay!). But over the last couple of months, I’ve been having issues with the skin on my boobs, first when it started getting hot, between my boobs would itch and then of course I’d sorta scratch so then it turned darkish. Now it’s peeling 🤦🏾‍♀️. In the meantime, I have gone through one nipple/areola peeling and basically looking raw and feeling leathery and it going away and then the other boob is now doing the same. I have an appt tomorrow to see my doctor because I feel like it looks gross and of course the first thing that pops up on Google is cancer (paget’s disease). I’m praying it’s just like eczema or something because I know it’s not thrush and I’m freaking out! Anyone else ever have skin issues on the boobs while breastfeeding?
