No movement yet?

Question

I will be 19 weeks tomorrow and I’m not feeling movement yet! Is that normal or should I be worried? I have di/di twins and I was told at an ultrasound at 16 weeks that the placentas are anterior, they were moving around like crazy at that ultrasound. I’ve been feeling some things that I think are flutters but I honestly can’t tell for sure. I feel like everyone says they feel crazy movement and kicking by now and it’s really freaking me out!

This is my 4th pregnancy and I didn’t feel them until closer to 24 weeks. I only have 1 anterior placenta too! Each ultrasound they were kicking eachother and not me lol

I had anterior placentas with my twins and I didn't feel movement until 20 wks.
There 4 wks old now so don't worry you should start and feel it soon x

Don’t worry hun, it’s normal. I thought the same thing, I’m having my 5th baby & I could feel all of my other kids move by 13-15wks but with this one I finally started feel a lot of movement by 21 weeks. Every pregnancy is different

At 19 weeks i didnt feel much..im 29 now and can feel everything...one placenta is anterior and one is posterior

I'm 16 weeks and can feel slight movement once or twice an evening if it's like silent in the house, and I smush around a bit in my belly to get him to move or settle haha. But anywhere from ,16-22 weeks for regular movement is normal so you are probably fine! If your placenta is anterior (in the front) it will take longer for you to feel movement bc it's cushioning your baby's movements!

Don’t panic.  It’s different for everyone and every pregnancy.  For my di/di twins, I started feeling flutters at 12/13 weeks and by 19 weeks, we could feel them kick with our hands on my belly.  For my daughter, we couldn’t feel her kick until 21-22 weeks, and I constantly had to do nonstress tests on her because she was a lazy little thing and didn’t move much.  Current baby girl, I felt her sooo much last week on Thursday and Friday and she was even responding to me gently pushing on my belly, but haven’t felt her again since then (I’m 16w4d).  If these are your first babies, it can be hard to know what you’re feeling until you can see/feel your belly move from the outside.  Pretty soon, you’ll be able to see lots of movement. ❤️❤️❤️
