So I’m 39 weeks and 5 days and was scheduled today for an induction VBAC to be specific. They checked my cervix and said it was closed and not ripened. They wanted to try cervidil or cytotec to ripen the cervix but none are ideal for VBAC. The baby looks completely fine on the monitor and I’m having absolutely no contractions. They sent me home :( saying the hospital was short staffed and they got an abnormal amount of admissions who are more emergent then my case. And scheduled me for the induction on my due date 9/3 Saturday. They told me if on Saturday I’m not dilated they would put in the foley bulb. They told me to walk a lot and have sex to dilate etc. I’m just disappointed and looking for any tips?
