33 weeks in preterm labor

I started having contractions all night when I was 32 week so the next day I went to the hospital and they checked me and found out I was 5cm dilated! They are making me stay at the hospital until I’m 34 weeks because I am high risk I have gestational diabetes and my baby girl is in the 7th percentile. They have been stopping the contractions with medication but after 34 weeks they will just let me go into labor. I’m wondering how long can you stay 5 cm?
