Why do we

Question

Go into a deep sleep before labor? Like with both of my kids I went into a really deep sleep and then my water broke when I woke up (I hope I’m making sense I’m really trying here haha)
Anybody else do this? I can’t be the only one to experience this

I've never had that?... Lol I went into labor in my sleep twice but it robbed me of sleep unfortunately

I never had that experience. I wish i did cause i was exhausted even before my labor began, fhen being in labor for a long ass time i was even more tired

i knocked out for a whole hour and a half before i had to push my baby

Omg I wish. That sounds amazing!! 
I had to be induced with my first two because my body just didn't want to let go of them lol. There was no deep sleep to be had for 2-4 days prior to them being born..I was already sleep deprived before they even entered the world. Would have loved some deep sleep just before having them.

I had a mini panic attack before my scheduled C-section (my first baby was a csection so I knew what was coming and I was terrified.) I lay my head back on the pillow closed my eyes to calm myself and woke up a half hour later ready to go! 🤣I think it’s a survival tactic
