BV in pregnancy
I had a regular check up today and told her the last week I’ve noticed a light vinegar odour as part of my discharge, no burning, itching etc, just a strange but not foul smell. She did a swab and because I have an app for results, I can see already that the test did come back positive for BV. However, her office is not open again until Tuesday and it’s Friday. Is there a risk going this long weekend with it untreated? It’s not been uncomfortable but it’s definitely something, now that it’s confirmed, I want treated right away. Thoughts? Should I not stress to much about it being a long weekend? Will a few more days hurt? I’m 26+2.
Also just curious, I am not sexually active and know it’s not an STI but wondering how I got it? I’ve been doing the same things I always do. Can you get it from pregnancy throwing stuff off due to hormones?
