I like him, but I’m older.

I’ve been talking to this guy for about a month or so. We met at a video shoot, he seemed but cool so I asked him if he wanted to be friends and hang out. It was something about him, I guess how I could tell he was shy and nervous around me. We were suppose to just be friends, but he started telling me he liked me and said he would like to be my boyfriend if given the chance. He has asked me, but I said I would like to get to know him better. He always showed genuine interest from the beginning to now. He gives me reassurance even when I don’t ask, he’s very nice, seems like he likes me for ME.

THE THING IS he would be SO close to the perfect guy for me if we were the same age or if he was older. If someone older or my age had the ENERGY he is given me, without a doubt I’d be head over heels. He says he’s mature for his age and I can see that. He’s in a way better position financially than me and other people my age. But it just throws me off a bit. I’m 24 he just turned 22 2 months ago. I’m 2.6 years older than him. Is that weird??? Do I seem desperate I feel like some would think I can’t find someone my age or older. I think I’m just in my head😕😕😕 I’m so use to the old school “man older than the woman”
