Crocheting baby stuff making husband sad?

Im crocheting some baby stuff for some pregnant relatives. I've not had a problem with it... but I can tell when my husband sees the little jackets and hats it makes him sad. We've had 3 miscarriages and don't have kids. We've considered adoption and fostering, but because of our traumas were working on ourselves a little because they have trauma and we need to be ready to stay calm in very triggering situations.

We both want kids. Idk what to do to make him feel better/cheer him up. He's not constantly sad, but I hate seeing that look in his eyes... especially considering that were here because of my inability to carry to term.
