How does ovulation work?

Right so if my ovulation test is positive and darker then the control line, do I ovulate after that or am I ovulating now? I don't get it ha and I'm 26 🫣

It means you have a surge of lh hormone and you should ovulate within 24/32 hours after a peak opk has been seen. 
Ovulation tests do not confirm you are ovulating or going to ovulate it only means you have or have not a surge

You SHOULD ovulate somewhere 12-48 hours from now

It means your likely to ovulate in the next 12-36 hours (hopefully), so if your trying to get pregnant, now is the time to have sex. First month of getting a blazing positive ovulation test, we had sex that night and I got my positive that month! So good luck to you xxx
