Hot wheels?

If your kids have hot wheels (like the big tracks not just the cars) tell me your opinions.

My son,4, has showed interest but they seem like toys that just take up a lot of space and probably don’t get played with that much. We tend to do more open ended toys (train tracks, legos) where you can play, create, take apart and do something totally different.

I’ve seen some relatively cheap on market place, but I don’t want something that just clutters up the play space without bringing lots of play.
